Rick Reed and Phil Curtin, owners of iNLeT Fitness & iNLeT Fitness South have spent a lifetime in the fitness industry. Both trainers and athletes since childhood, Rick and Phil are personal trainers certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American College of Sports Medicine (NASM). iNLeT Fitness is the culmination of years of study, passion and dedication to helping others attain their fitness goals.

Rick Reed’s devoted passion to the health and fitness industry has truly manifested itself over the past 17 years.

After receiving a full scholarship to play football at Duke University in 1982, Rick became an undergraduate strength and conditioning coach at Duke. With his BA in History, Rick moved on to attend Old Dominion University’s pre-physical therapy program while earning his personal training certifications from both the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Spanning his 10-year career as a trainer, Rick has developed a variety of training programs that have assisted many of his clients towards attaining their fitness goals. This achievement of having a positive impact on people of all shapes, ages and sizes is what drove him towards expanding on his fitness intuitiveness and opening iNLeT Fitness.

With the help of of an extremely positive, friendly and experienced staff, Rick has provided the community with a fitness facility that strives to be the most complete, accommodating and diverse facility in the area.

Phil Curtin seemed destined for a future in the fitness business. At age 12 he entered his first Olympic style weight lifting contest. By age 16 he had captured four state titles, all while coaching other up and coming lifters on proper form and technique.

In 1985 Phil graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in marketing with additional concentrations in sports medicine and exercise physiology. For the last 14 years Phil has managed several area fitness facilities, including Wareing’s Gym. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and is also C.P.R. certified.

Phil’s specialties include designing programs for pre/post pregnancy members, seniors, rehabilitation of injured individuals, and nutrition counseling. Phil is also known for periodically telling bad jokes! He can’t wait to help you feel better through fitness while making you laugh.
