Dave Brown

Director of Personal Training - Great Neck

Dave Brown, from Virginia Beach, has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 1991. He is President of Master Fitness, Inc., a full service personal fitness company. Dave previously served as Fitness Director for the Norfolk Downtown Athletic Club training individual members as well as the Norfolk Admirals hockey team.

Before entering the fitness field, Dave served 20 years with the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer commanding troops from platoon to battalion level. He served as an instructor at both Boston University and the Armed Forces Staff College. He graduated with honors from Old Dominion University and holds an MBA from Boston University.

As an avid bodybuilder, he won the titles of Masters Mr. Virginia and Masters Mr. USA. In 1991 and 1992 he was named AAU Masters Athlete of the Year. In addition to being a certified fitness trainer, Dave also holds certifications as a fitness therapist and specialist in fitness for older adults.
