Did you know that 1 lb of fat takes up 5 times the amount of space in your clothing than 1 lb of muscle? What about this: your body is 70% of what you put in your mouth. You really ARE what you eat!!

Some people think too much about what they should eat, others don't care at all. Let's find a balance and look at it simply: do you want to be a lean gazelle that grazes throughout the day or an enormous bear that gorges its food in one sitting?

Know the facts. By healthily grazing throughout the day, your blood sugars stay level and in control, which prevents the binge effect. Try eating every 3 hours, such as light breakfast, lunch, dinner with snacks in-between. It's all about portion control. You don't have to scrutinize every single calorie and stress about it; it REALLY is that simple!

We recommend eating meat, veggies, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. If it's white, it better be chicken or fish! Do you find you're hungry and you JUST ate? You could actually be dehydrated and you just THINK you're hungry. People mistake this feeling all the time. Drink a big glass of water before you eat and throughout the entire day. Being hydrated helps suppress appetites.

Now we are all human. Reward yourself now and then with a "cheat meal". Bet you didn't know this actually HELPS you lose weight. How you ask? By eating clean throughout the week, your metabolism remembers what to burn and how to react. If you cheat with a meal every so often, your body will react double time to get rid of this "foreign food" you've just digested, which will in turn raise your metabolism!
