So that you may have the most enlightening experience whenever you are attending classes, we ask you to please
~provide your own mat. For sanitary reasons iNLeT Fitness does not supply yoga mats.
~ remove your shoes before entering the studio. We practice with bare feet
~ in hot classes please bring water and a towel
~turn off all electronic devices
~arrive on time-each class begins with meditation
~please observe quiet when you arrive into the studio-many people come to class a few minutes early to de-stress from the day and prepare for practice
~wear light, comfortable, non-restricting clothing, and keep in mind that all classes are co-ed
~be mindful of fragrances-lotions, perfumes etc., many people have allergies
~savasana is the most important posture in the practice, please do not skip it. If you must leave early please take a moment for final relaxation.
~it is not good to practice on a full stomach. A light snack an hour or so before class is fine. Hydrate before and after class. Please, no gum in the studio.
~inform instructor of any medical conditions or injuries that you may have
~be aware of your surroundings. Try to avoid bumping into your neighbor and stepping on others mats
~listen-pay particular attention to what your teacher says about not pushing yourself too hard, this is for your own safety and the safety of others in class
~keep your eye on your own practice
~propasana-kindly leave props in the mannerly order in which you found them
~variations-keep in mind the level of class you are taking. If it is a basics class, stick to the basic postures as the teacher asks unless otherwise directed. If it is too difficult modify, if you are unsure ask!
Finally, we at iNLeT Fitness want to make this a wonderful experience for you, so kindly give us any suggestions or comments that would make your practice more pleasurable. Remember all instructors are available for private instruction when the studio is not in use.
